The primary focus of the Coffee Morning is to provide a midweek meeting place, fostering fellowship and friendship. Come and enjoy a cup of tea or freshly ground coffee and a home-made biscuit or cake of your choice. You are guaranteed a warm welcome. (All proceeds go to the running of the church.)

At the end of September, every year, we take part in “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” to help MacMillan Cancer Support. On that day, admission is by donation.

The format comprises a time of praise, prayer and scripture reading, followed by a short talk. At the close of each meeting we enjoy getting to know each other further over a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit. All are welcome!

Every second Monday 7.30pm – 9pm

Wednesday 1pm-3.30pm

Held in the Session Room

At the craft club we enjoy many varied crafts and are keen to learn new ones. If anyone wants to learn how to do a new craft, there is usually someone there who is willing to show them how to do it. The ladies knitcrochet, do decoupagecross-stitch, and tapestry. Some have tried lace making and tatting.

Do you like to crochet or knit?
In good company like to sit?
As you work, do you like to chat
Of current affairs, this and that.

Well, come along to our club to see
if it would suit you down to a ‘T’.
There are some who do quilling:
To show you how, they are willing.

If you prefer card-making art
At stamping you would like to take part,
There’s decoupage and folding paper:
It really is a joyous caper!

Embroidery, tapestry, cross-stitch too –
There must be something just for you.
So come along Wednesdays, half past one
You’d be welcome to join in the fun.

Wednesday 10am-12 noon

You do not need to be of world class standard to join us but if you enjoy a little exercise, good fun, a bit of light-hearted banter and, of course, a cup of tea — you will be made very welcome.
