Christian Faith
The Christian Faith is all about having a relationship with the living God through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins so that we can be forgiven for all the things we have done wrong. We believe that God raised Jesus to life again so that we can receive the gift of everlasting life and know God’s love for us now and always.
God invites us to know Him and receive the gift of His Holy Spirit to be with us always, helping us to experience God’s love, joy, and peace in our lives. We believe that God’s Spirit also helps us to grow in our faith as we:
- read the Bible, which is God’s written Word for us,
- pray,
- encourage each other and worship together,
- serve God in our world by showing His love in our words and actions.
Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
If you would like to have a relationship with God, here is a very simple prayer you can pray.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and set free. I’m sorry for the things I’ve done wrong in my life. Please forgive me. I choose to turn and follow you. I receive the gift of your Holy Spirit to be with me forever. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
