The Anchors Section offers an opportunity for boys to build their social skills, creativity and confidence, working on their own and with others by engaging in fun activities. Such activities include games, physical activities, football, badge work, a Christmas Pantomime and Halloween and Christmas parties.
Who can be an Anchor Boy?
The Anchor Boys is open to any boy, of all faiths and no faith, in P1-3.
When and where do they meet?
Meetings are held in the Church Halls from 6:30 until 7:30 on Thursday evenings from the beginning of September to the end of March.
Where does it lead?
Boys in P3 are promoted at the Parents’ Night in March to the Junior Section of the Boys’ Brigade which meet on a Friday evening from 6:10 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.
